Digicel Fiji 7s coach Waisale Serevi will rely on local based players for the first two legs of the IRB World 7s Series.
Serevi is trying to gather the players from last year and will also include a few players from the Lelean and RKS teams that took part in the Coke Zero Deans competition.
Serevi said overseas based players will be considered after the Dubai and George 7s.
Meanwhile one of the greatest 7s coaches, Gordon Tietjens of New Zealand said Serevi will make a difference in the Fiji 7s team although he won't be playing.
The Dubai 7s tournament will be held on November 29th and 30th with the George 7s tournament scheduled for the 6th and 7th of December.
