Former national 7s coach Waisale Serevi will decide later today whether he will take his Drifters team to defend the Darwin 7s in Australia next week.

Speaking to Village Sports, the 7s maestro said that he has to weigh the option of taking his team to Darwin or to be part of the Suva team for next week’s BP Oil National 7s.

Serevi who wants to make his last appearance in the Hong Kong 7s this year will have to play in the National 7s to be able to be part of the 25 member training squad for Hong Kong.

If the wizard will take his Drifters team to Darwin next week, then he will miss out on selection for Hong Kong.

Next week’s National 7s will be the selection ground for the Fiji 7s team to Hong Kong and San Diego and also the 25 member training squad will be announce.
