Former Fiji 7s Coach/Player Waisale Serevi will be at the Hong Kong 7s tournament later this month.

Serevi, who signed a two year contract with the Taiwan Rugby Union will not be accompanying the Fiji 7s team - but will enter the So Kon Po stadium on March 28th as the Coach of the Chinese Taipei side.

Serevi takes over from another former Fiji 7s Coach Tomasi Cama, who has now taken up a coaching role in Malaysia.

He will also be coaching the Chinese Taipei side at the Asian Games and won't be returning to Fiji until October this year.

It is also confirmed now that the 7s maestro won't be playing at this weekend's Fiji Bitter Marist 7s tournament although he has been registered with the City Eagles side.

Serevi was hoping to end his playing career at the Hong Kong 7s but FRU maintains their stance that players will only get selected once they play at the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s this weekend.

This means that Serevi is now completely out of contention.
