Former Fiji 7's coach Waisale Serevi was the star off the Bangkok 7's tournament over the weekend in Thailand.

Serevi who is hoping to play in next year's Hong Kong 7's which could be his swansong in his 7's career, guided the Pacific Islands team to win the Bangkok 7's tournament title.

Serevi scored a winning try in the final as his Pacific Islands team defeated Australia's Aboriginal team LIoyd McDermott 14-7.

The 7's maestro also helped the Pacific Islands team to come from behind and beat the Grammar-Carlton team from New Zealand by 19-14.
