Sevens legend and former Fiji Sevens coach Waisale Serevi has placed his money on Scotland to upset the Digicel Fiji Sevens team in their pool play at the upcoming England Sevens.

Serevi worked with the Scotland Sevens team when he was playing in the Melrose Sevens over the past few weeks and believes with the inclusion of international flanker Ally Hogg and Six Nations winger Thom Evans, the side will be a team to watch in England.

Last year the Scots triumphed over the Fijians 19-14 in the Plate semifinal, before eventually losing in the final against the Boks.

Meanwhile, Digicel Fiji Sevens team manager Alifereti Malo said they are still negotiating with their liaison officer to have warm-up matches with Australia and Argentina.

The England Sevens will kick-off on Saturday with Fiji's opening pool game at 11:19pm against USA, then Fiji meets Scotland at 2:25am on Sunday and their last pool game is against Kenya at 6:49am.
