Sevens Wizard Waisale Serevi is expected to arrive into the country early on Monday to take part in the inaugural Uprising Fiji International 7s tournament.

Serevi who is currently based in Seattle had earlier revealed to Fijivillage news that he will be a player in the Digicel Matai Select team as well as work with New Zealand 7s coach Gordon Tietjens in training the Digicel Matai team.

Serevi today left Seattle and will arrive on Monday before he joins Tietjens.

Meanwhile, the Mikaele Pesamino led Samoan team will open the Tournament when they face off with provincial champions Nadroga.

The Uprising International 7s will be held in Suva=s TFL Stadium next Friday and Saturday.
