The Fiji Rugby Union remains firm in the selection made by the national selectors for the Digicel Fiji 7's team to the Wellington and San Diego 7's.
Although coach Waisale Serevi is not happy with some of his key players being dropped from the team, Acting FRU, CEO Keni Dakuidreketi said Serevi knew about the final squad before his Drifters side left for Darwin.
Dakuidreketi said he made it clear that Serevi was told that players like Ponipate Kato and Lepani Nabuliwaqa will not be in the team after they failed the fitness test.
National selector Mosese Taga said Serevi is now making alot of noise after the team has been selected but during the selection process, he agreed to the list of players that are in the team now.
Fiji is in Pool D in the Wellington 7's with USA, Cook Islands and Samoa.
