The opening leg of the IRB 7s series this Friday will be Digicel Fiji 7s coach Waisale Serevi's biggest challenge.

While the 7s wizard is the only coach to have guided the Fiji 7s team to an IRB 7s series win in 2006, there are a lot of factors which assisted him in the past that will not be with the run-on side this time around.

For the first time in an IRB sanctioned tournament, Serevi does not have an assistant coach he will watch the whole game from the side-line and is assisted by a manager who is also making his debut in the Series.

The 40-year-old Maestro, who has been in the 7s rugby code for the past 20 years said these challenge are a testing ground for his players.
