Digicel Fiji 7s coach Waisale Serevi is keeping his options open for playing at next year's Rugby World Cup 7s tournament in Dubai.
Serevi has been stopped by the Fiji Rugby Union from playing for the National 7s team and has been told only to concentrate on coaching.
But speaking to Fijivillage about his playing future, Serevi said he is always ready to don the National jumper and who knows he could be taking the field in Dubai for the defence of the Melrose Cup.
Meanwhile, FRU maintained its stand that Serevi will not be allowed to play and his job is only to coach.
