Sevens maestro Waisale Serevi is expected to put pen to paper next Tuesday when he meets with the Fiji Rugby Union board.
The 7s wizard arrived in the country yesterday and has agreed to the coaching contract offered to him by the FRU.
Once Serevi signs his contract, the FRU board will then appoint the manager and assistant coach for the national 7s team.
One of the clear criteria in the contract is that Serevi is only to coach and not to play for the sevens team.
His first assignment as coach will be to take the Fiji 7s team to the Dubai 7s in December.
