Former Fiji 7s coach/player Waisale Serevi is a doubtful starter at this weekend's Fiji Bitter Marist 7s tournament.

Serevi who is hoping to represent Fiji at the Hong Kong 7s tournament is still in Taiwan and is expected back later this week.

The 7s maestro may miss the selection if he fails to play in the Marist 7s tournament.

Meanwhile, Japan based William Ryder jets into the country today to play in the Marist 7s and is highly tipped to make the 12-member squad.

Nasoni Roko and Semisi Naevo arrived last Friday. The Marist 7s tournament will start on Friday at the Post Fiji Stadium.
