Senior officials from the Prime Minister’s Office will today meet with the delegates of the Lau Provincial Council to iron out any issues with regards to the Peoples Charter.

Roko Tui Lau Ratu Joseva Navakaroko confirms the Prime Minister’s office officials led by Kisoko Cagituevei will take time to answer to questions and concerns from the 40 members of the council and how the charter will move the nation forward.

The step is being taken in case of a mixed reaction, with the officials revealing that they will have a talanoa session where members will listen and ask questions on charter issues.

Meanwhile a traditional welcome ceremony and church service hosted by the Lau people living in the west will be held first before the talanoa session.

The meeting proper starts tomorrow at 10am.
