Senior Lecturer Public Health Nursing at the Fiji School of Public Health at Tamavua Sister Iloi Rabuka has challenged the relevant authorities for the advancement of training program for nurses.
Sister Rabuka made the comments at a presentation on the celebration of the 125th anniversary for the Fiji School of Medicine at the CWM Auditorium in Suva yesterday.
Sister Rabuka said nurses should be taught ways to address the communities in dealing with public health issues.
Public Health nursing as been in Fiji for the last 116 years since it was first established in 1894.
