Senior civil servant and diplomat, Ross Ligairi has passed away.
This has been confirmed by his close family members from his village in Naibalebale, Savusavu. He passed away last night after a short illness.
Ligairi worked in the civil service for a number of years and held the post of Foreign Affairs Permanent Secretary before being appointed Roving Ambassador.
Ligairi was survived by his wife and three sons.
