Some senior police officers have been given the directive from Deputy Police Commissioner Eroni Antonio to vacate their positions immediately.
One of the senior police officers is Ravi Narayan who holds the position of Director Economic Crime.
Narayan told Village News that he was issued the letter yesterday afternoon and was told to hand over the position to another senior police officer.
Village News has been reliably informed that SSP Jese Marovia, ACP Sada Nand, ACP Isikeli Vuniwaqa and other senior officers have been asked to vacate their positions.
Deputy Police Commissioner Eroni Antonio when contacted this afternoon said to refer all queries to Commissioner Esala Teleni.
