A senior Police Officer from Labasa Police station was involved in an accident last night between Seaqaqa and Labasa highway.
Labasa Police have confirmed the Officer was travelling in his official vehicle which veered off the road.
The vehicle in the process was badly damaged however the Officer escaped serious injuires.
It is not known at this stage how the Officer lost control of the vehicle.
