Labasa Police have charged a senior police officer for allegedly stealing fuel from its station pump.
Divisional Crime Officer Northern ASP Luke Rawalai confirmed the Officer was charged on Saturday after investigations revealed he stole fuel from the station pump early last year.
ASP Rawalai refused to disclose the rank of the Officer and mentioned they are now trying to determine the total value of fuel that was allegedly being stolen.
The Officer has been released on bail.
