Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama, will be updated by senior government officials and the military council, on the daily operations of the government and the security situation in the country, when he leaves the country tonight to address Fiji's situation at the UN General Assembly in New York.

Military Spokesperson Lt Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga said the situation will be the same when the Commander goes overseas for officials duty.

Meanwhile, as Bainimarama leaves the country tonight to New York, one of the architects of the 1997 constitution, Professor Brij Lal told the ABC that he does not think the international community can be persuaded by Bainimarama's address on his version on why he overthrew the democratically elected government.
