Senior players in the Digicel Fiji 7's team are closely guiding the new caps ahead of the opening pool game against Korea on Friday night.
Speaking to Fijivillage Sports, Manager Opetaia Ravai said that under the leadership of Captain Marika Vunibaka together with experienced players like Setefano Cakau, Mosese Volavola and William Ryder, they have helped the new players like Rt Naisa Narukutabua, Tomasi Mawi, Timoci Matanavou and Epeli Vuniwaqa settle in well in Hong Kong.
Ravai added that in camp the players have been reminded of the importance of winning the Hong Kong 7's title.
Fiji plays Korea in its first HK 7s pool game on Friday at 9:14pm.
