Adolescent changes is one of the issues that sometimes adults choose not to discuss with the teenagers in the country.
However the Methodist Church of Fiji organised seminar currently underway in Suva is tackling the issue with more than 300 students attending the weeklong seminar.
Former Medical Sister, Vika Tikinatabua said our children are special so we as parents should also explain to them the importance of changes that will take place in their lives like the subject of menstruation for the girls and wet dreams for the boys.
Tikinatabua said we are living in modern times now and parents should sit down with their children and talk openly on issues which will affect them if they are not careful.
Other important issues discussed at the seminar are Climate Change and registration on the Vola ni Kawa Bula.
