Consistent performance is what the Digicel Fiji 7s selectors are looking for in any player who is out to try and win a place in the Digicel Fiji 7s team to the next leg of the IRB Sevens Series in Hong Kong and Australia.

Those were the words of Fiji Rugby Union’s High Performance Unit Manager Talemo Waqa and 7s assistant coach Josateki Savou, who were present at the TFL National Stadium on Saturday to watch the last leg of the Fiji TV provincial 7s.

With the Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s and Marist tournaments the next two weekends, players will have to prove their worth with a consistent performance to get a chance to be in the Fiji 7s team.

The selectors will again be in Nadi this weekend to scout for more talent before the Fiji 7s team is finalized.

The Nawaka 7s kicks-off on Friday with the winner walking away with $21,000 dollars.
