The Flying Fijians selectors could face a selection headache if some of their key players do not recover in time when the final 30 member team to the Rugby World Cup is announced on Monday.

Especially in the locks department where number one choice Ifereimi Rawaqa is injured with Sekonaia Kalou and there is no clear indication on when they will fully recover.

Last Saturday, Rupeni Nasiga and Wame Lewaravu played at locks with Leone Nakarawa likely to be ruled out because of his military connection due to the NZ government’s current stand.

Manager Pio Bosco Tikoisuva said the medical team will have the final say on the players on whether they can still be in the side to New Zealand.

This Friday at 4.30pm, Fiji will meet Tonga in the second test series at Churchill Park in Lautoka and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station, Viti FM.

This is the last match before the Fiji team is picked.
