National Netball coach, Melissa Walker has today clarified that it is not the duty of the Team Manager to pick the final 12-member team to represent Fiji to the Mini Games in the Cook Islands.
Speaking to Fijivillage sports, Walker said that the selection of the team lies with the Coach and her Assistant.
Walker was reacting to reports in today’s Dailies which stated that Team Manager, Sai Khalik was selecting the final team.
Walker adds that the team has not been finalised and they will make an announcement soon.
The Mini Games kick off on September 21st.
