"They deserve their place in the team as they have shown the selectors they can handle the first assignment in the IRB 7s series in Dubai and South Africa."
Those were the words of Digicel Fiji 7s coach Iliesa Tanivula after he named his final 12 member team last night in Suva.
Tanivula said that everyone that has been selected knows the task that awaits them in trying to end their losing streak in Dubai.
Looking at the team that was announced yesterday, in the forwards are Seremaia Burotu, Watisoni Votu, Sitiveni Waqa, Samuela Saqiwa and Rusiate Tadulala.
In the backs, Emosi Vucago who has been chosen captain will pair with Nikola Matawalu, Mitieli Nacagilevu, Nasoni Roko, Josaia Lotawa, Saimoni Nuku and Josefa Bole.
New caps include Sitiveni Waqa, Samuela Saqiwa, Rusiate Tadulala, Nikola Matawalu, Mitieli Nacagilevu and Josaia Lotawa.
The Dubai 7s kicks-off on the 4th and 5th of December and Fiji is in Pool D with Portugal, France and England.
