These are the words of Fiji Hoteliers Association President, Dixon Seeto after a report that many hotel workers were laid off or were on reduced hours due to the global economic crisis.
Seeto said businesses are looking at their cost structure adding he hopes that the situation improves so that the people who were made redundant will be taken on board.
