Housing Authority has raised concern that the people living in Namara settlement are not going to the authority with their plights as written in the eviction notice.
Chairman Samuela Saumatua said the settlers need to inform the authority about their problems so that the authority can assist them. He stressed that they are not being evicted but are being re-located.
The Melanesian group living in the Namara settlement has earlier raised concern that their eviction notice expired this week so they are not sure to leave their houses as they have lived there for the past decade.
Spokesperson Joseva Selo said out of the 160 families only four families have moved away from Namara.
The Housing Authority will develop the site for Housing Authority flats and the construction work will last for the next two years.
