A 26 year old security officer of Nadi is admitted at Lautoka Hospital after he was hit by a vehicle at Nadi Back road yesterday afternoon.
Western Police spokesperson, Wame Bautolu said the 58 year old man was driving towards Votualevu when he lost control of the vehicle and bumped this pedestrian.
The victim was rushed to Nadi Hospital and later transferred to Lautoka Hospital where he is recovering.
Driver of the vehicle is in police custody and expected to be charged soon.
