Officials at the Prime Minister's Office are now re-looking at the security measures currently in place for the fourth level of the Government Buildings.
Permanent Secretary at the PM's Office Parmesh Chand said they are also looking at all the entry points into the building where the Office of the Prime Minister is located following a theft at the PM's Office between last Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.
Chand has refused to reveal where the items were removed from. However, he said it was not from Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama's office.
Meanwhile, police are investigating the theft at the Prime Minister's office over the weekend.
Thieves stole a Laptop, a Motorola mobile phone and some other items. No arrests have been made as yet.
