The second round of the Fiji International Golf Open Championship promises to be full of action as seven golfers equalled the course record of four under par 68 after day one of the competition.
Leading the pack is 30-year-old Australian golfer Stephen Dartnell who was the first player to equal the course record yesterday.
Dartnell said competition will be even tougher as it proceeds to the second round and there is still room for improvement.
Meanwhile, former PGA champions Nick Price and Fiji’s Vijay Singh will have to dig deep today if they are to qualify for the next round.
Both are sitting in the 51st spot recording scores of one over par with a total score of 73.
The Fiji International Golf Open Championship continues today with the top 60 going through to the third round tomorrow.
