The seven year wait has ended for Suva after they beat Nadroga 20-17 and have become the new holders of the Farebrother Sullivan Challenge trophy.

An outstanding second half performance by Suva prevented Nadroga from stretching another week of dominance in local rugby.

Nadroga led 11-3 in the first half with a try to Nemani Nagusa and two penalties to Jiuta Lutumailagi while Suva only managed a penalty from playmaker Emosi Mulevoro.

The capital city side came back in the second half with all guns firing courtesy of two unanswered tries to captain Samu Bola and Apisai Naqaliva with Emosi Mulevoro kicking a penalty to seal the game.

Suva will now meet Naitasiri in the next challenge of the Farebrother Sullivan Trophy this week.
