Saint Joseph Secondary School sprinter Sisilia Seavula is likely to be the top contender for the senior girls 100m event as her best friend and Adi Cakobau School sprinter Elenoa Sailosi is in doubt to feature in the Coca Cola games this week.

Seavula who was beaten last year by Sailosi in the intermediate girls 100m said she is preparing herself.

Seavula took part in the Fiji games over the weekend where in the women’s 100m final, she won gold after clocking a time of 12.40secs beating Gospel High School’s Younis Bese and school mate Tamara Patrick.

She also took part in the 200m where she clocked a personal best of 25.40secs.

Meanwhile, there is still no word yet on ACS star athlete Elenoa Sailosi if she would recover in time for the coke games.

The Coke Games will be held this Thursday and Friday at the ANZ stadium.
