Defending girls blue ribbon champion Sisilia Seavula is confident of defending her title in this year’s Coca Cola Games.

The Saint Joseph’s Secondary school student won the senior girls 100 and 200 metres final during the Suva Zone Two last month.

Seavula clocked a time of 12.51 seconds in the 100 metres and 25.69 seconds in the 200 metres.

Her main threat will be Adi Cakobau School sprinter Elenoa Sailosi.

Seavula said it will be tough to defend her title.

Meanwhile, Sailosi scooped the blue ribbon for the girl’s division during the Triple N Zone with a time of 12.75 seconds and also broke Makelesi Bulikiobo’s 200 metres record with the new time of 25.50 seconds.

The Coca Cola Games will be held on the 25th and 26th of this month.

The National Torch Relay is currently at Vunisea Secondary School in Kadavu.

It will later travel to Kadavu Provincial Secondary School and Richmond Methodist High School.
