As the search continues for the man who allegedly fatally injured a woman at Albert Lee Place, off Nailuva Road in Suva on Monday afternoon, police have yet to classify the death.
Police say the post-mortem will be conducted today to confirm the cause of death.
They say the suspect allegedly seriously injured the victim with a broken bottle.
Police say another woman, who was staying with the couple relayed the incident to her partner, whereby a report was lodged.
