A search will continue this morning for two people believed to be victim's of an early morning road accident along the King's road.

Police Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro confirms they received a report of an alleged fatal at about 12.20am between Balekinaga and Wailevu, Wainibuka.

Naisoro said a rental car traveling from Tavua towards Korovou veered off the road and went into the Wainibuka River and it is uncertain what caused the vehicle carrying six people to veer off the road. 

The driver, a couple and their three children were in the car.

Naisoro said the driver and three other passengers are at the Korovou Hospital.

Investigations continue.

Meanwhile, two people have been rushed to the hospital after a road accident in Nasole 6 miles Nasinu today.

An eyewitness Ravinesh Prasad said that around 8.10 this morning he heard a loud noise and when he came outside his house he saw the accident.

It is believed that one of the vehicles tyres burst while the other vehicle tried to avoid the accident which then collided with a bus. 

The two vehicles were on their way towards Nausori while the Bus was on its way to Suva. 

 
People also rescued one of the drivers.

Fire fighters and Police were at the scene.
