The mother of the two-year-old boy reported missing from Sandalwood Street in Lautoka on Monday, is calling for public assistance to find her son.
2-year-old Pita Baravilala Junior was having a rain bath in a fenced compound with another boy.
Pita’s mother Asilika Nabunobuno says she and her husband have been searching for their son since Monday.
They have also lodged the report with the Police on the same day.
Nabunobuno says her aunt was watching the two boys having their rain bath however the two later went outside the compound.
Their neighbour has told them that she only say one boy on the road after some time.
The other boy has told the family that 2 year old Pita Baravilala Junior had jumped into a nearby drain.
Nabunobuno says she and her husband have search the drain leading to a creek however there is no sign of Pita.
Lautoka Police are requesting the public to contact 6660222 or 8018441 if they have any information about the whereabouts of 2-year-old Pita Baravilala Junior.
