Police search and rescue officers are searching for a 67-year-old farmer of Sigatoka who went missing at sea when the bilibili he was on capsized on Saturday night.
Police media liaison officer Atunaisa Sokomuri has confirmed that the farmer was fishing with a 34-year-old school teacher when their bilibili capsized due to strong currents.
The school teacher managed to swim ashore but the farmer was swept away by strong currents.
A search was conducted yesterday however there were no signs of the farmer.
Some villagers are also helping police in the search.
