The search continues for the body of a 2 year old boy who was swept away by strong currents after falling into a drain near his house yesterday.
Police Media Officer Atunaisa Sokomuri said the boy returned from the market at around 1pm yesterday with his mother and 4-year-old brother.
When they got home their mother went into a room to fetch something and left the two in the sitting room.
The 2-year-old managed to go outside and fell into a drain near their house and was swept away.
Police terminated the search for his body at around 6.45pm yesterday and are conducting another round of search this afternoon.
