Police have called off their search for a 57 year old man and a 14 year old student who have been missing since Wednesday in Momi Bay.
Police spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri confirmed this saying that their search has been unsuccessful but officers are still out.
However, police found a backpack and torch at the reef and could not locate the bodies.
Missing are Sheik Mohammed Shamsu Dean and his neighbor, a class eight student, Navin Prasad.
They were last seen going out fishing with their fishing gear on foot.
