Police and Navy divers are currently at Natovi jetty trying to search for the stolen items from two tourists which are believed to have been thrown into the sea by a villager of Waivola settlement.

Police spokesperson, Atunaisa Sokomuri confirms that the two men who stole the items are been questioned by Police at the Korovou Police Station. Upon questioning the men said they had given the stolen items to a villager of Waivola settlement. When Police questioned the villager he claimed that he had thrown the items into the sea.

Sokomuri warns people receiving stolen properties to take heed that they can be charged.
