It has been two weeks now and the search continues for a fisheries officer still missing at sea.
The Police Search and Rescue team said the man left Makogai Island in a 23 foot wooden boat powered by 60HP Yamaha Engine two weeks ago. He was supposed to reach Natovi the same day however there is still no sign of him.
The team has searched for the man along Makogai to Natovi waters however have not found him. Mariners and coastal villages have been alerted and urged to keep a look out for the half cabin green coloured boat.
