The Chairman of the Seaqaqa Advisory Council is calling on the Interim Government to look into developing facilities in the area.
Lakhan Prasad said for the past three decades they have put forward proposals to have the small town developed as many of the basic amenities are missing and this causes alot of inconvenience for people there.
Prasad said Seaqaqa is the main stopover for those travelling to and from Labasa.
He adds as a result people and money which could be spent in Seaqaqa is lost to bigger towns like Labasa.
