The Health Ministry has clarified that they had never implemented screening process to monitor arrivals of visitors into the country in light of the Influenza A H1N1 virus scare.
Media Liaison Officer Iliesa Tora said members of the public should realise that the Ministry in partnership with the World Health Organisation is only carrying out awareness on the issue.
Tora adds their monitoring process only deals with officials who are based at the airports and ports of entry liaising with pilots and captains on passengers, who might have symptoms of the H1N1 virus.
