England is on its way to win the Six Nations rugby championship for the first time since 2011 after Scotland beat France 29‑18 this morning.

It was only the second time in the competition that Scotland had beaten France.

Defeat means that France, who were defeated 19‑10 by Wales a fortnight ago, remain on four points and cannot beat England.

The winner of the 2016 Six Nations Rugby championship will be confirmed after England faces France.
