The Scotland 7s team will be hoping those golden moments of 2010 and 2011 Edinburgh 7s will return where the hosts were in impressive form against one of the 7s giants.
In 2010, Scotland won the Plate after beating Fiji 31-14 in the pool rounds before recording victories against South Africa and Argentina.
In 2011, Colin Gregor then kicked a decisive conversion for a 14-12 victory against Fiji in the pool games.
Captain Collin Gregor said there is no better feeling than winning against some of the big teams at home.
Fiji will take on Spain at 9.52pm Saturday in the Scotland 7s.
We then take on Argentina at 12.58am Sunday and our last pool match is against Australia at 5.15am Sunday.
The Cup quarters start at 10.58pm Sunday, Cup semis kick off at 2.58am Monday and the final will get underway at 5.45am Monday.
