19 schools will battle it out for the Suva Zone 1 competition at the TFL Stadium today.
Defending boys division champion Nasinu Secondary School will be out to stamp their mark in retaining the title for a second year in a row.
Nasinu will be fielding a total of 88 athletes both in the boys and girls division.
Last year's girls champion Ratu Sukuna Memorial School has also step up their preparation knowing that former champion Dudley High School and Balentine Memorial School will be their biggest threat.
The first event of the day at 8.20am will be the 1500 meters for all grades.
