These are the words of Interim Education Minister Filipe Bole who said that in this case Principals and Management must use their own discretion on whether or not schools can open.
Bole adds that if water and electricity supply have been restored to schools and there is no damage to the infrastructure, than schools can open tomorrow if not then schools will open on Monday next week.
In a Press Conference this afternoon, Interim Prime Minister, Frank Bainimarama also said that there will be further surveys undertaken by DISMAC in the next few days to ascertain the full extent of damages of Cyclone Gene.
He added that this will assist the Interim Government in determining the full extent of funding required for relief and rehabilitation work.
