It's not only business houses, individuals, City and town Councils but many schools have also stepped up to adopt Earth Hour and help sustain the environment.
One such School is Saint Joseph Secondary which will be having a Green Day this Friday.
The School Principal Sister Genevieve Loo confirms that they will be dedicating the whole day in support of Earth Hour as schools will be closed on Saturday 29th the actuall day for Earth Hour campaign.
Saint Joseph and Saint Thomas Secondary Schools were the first ones to join the earth hour campaign in the country.
Other Schools that have joined includes Nadi College, Sabeto Sangam School, Saraswati College, Assemblies of GOD high School, International Secondary School, Rishikul Sanatan College, International Primary, Laucala Bay Secondary, Suva Sangam and Adi Cakobau School.
During this Earth Hour Campaign, unnecessary lights will be switched off from 8pm to 9pm this Saturday in an effort to cut greenhouses gas emissions.
