While welcoming the news of making it to the finals, defending Junior Division Champions Nakelo District School, who's theme is Angels on Assignment aimed at eradicating poverty in hunger, said they are ready to meet their fellow finalists.
Master Niumaia Rawalai said even if they do not successfully defend their title tonight, if they can change the mindset of people into helping one another and ensuring students never have to go hungry, it will be an even greater reward.
Meanwhile, first timers Pacific Harbour Multi-Cultural School who are also one of the five Junior Division finalists, staged a colourful performance which showed the importance of our diverse culture and how it has made our society.
Student representative Tiana Collingwood said being able to make it to the finals is an exciting time for them.
While things are heating up in the Junior Division ahead of the finals, Defending Senior Champions Rishikul Sanatan College said they have saved the best for the finals.
Choreographer, Tella Vadei said students will come out firing tonight to defend their title.
Also featuring in the Senior Division finals is a school that is no stranger to the finals, and Monfort Boys Town are here to take the Tadra Kahani title back to where it belonged some years back. Student Rep, Solomoni Lolohea said their school is carrying a strong theme.
The Tadra Kahani finals are tonight at the Vodafone Arena with gates opening at 6 tonight.
