This year’s Coca Cola Games is going to be the biggest ever in terms of the number of participating schools.

Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics Association General Secretary Vuli Waqa said 148 schools will take part this year compared to 123 last year but the number of athletes has decreased.

Waqa said last year 2,204 athletes took part but they are expecting about 2,140 athletes this year.

Waqa also said that they will have to check out the new ANZ Stadium before making any changes to the two day Coke Games.
