Reading is important.
Those were the words of Suva City Carnegie Library Extension Services Officer Jovilisi Qasi as National Library Week is being celebrated around the country and by schools.
Qasi said looking at the number of members they have at the library it indicates that people are still interested in reading despite other sources of entertainment.
Qasi added that programmes have been organized for kids to ensure that they have a learning experience during the whole week’s celebration.
Library week will end this Saturday with fun programmes on the final day.
